Overview: The Google Pixel 4 is a Good Phone with a top quality camera able to produce, high quality videos and images in great detail, The overall design has changed slightly since the last generation with a more minimalist aesthetic. The Display provides a 90hz refresh rate and making everything smooth, so games, applications and just scrolling on the phone will be fluid. There are some negative aspects such as the build quality which isn't super strong, so the Google Pixel 4 will need to be handled with care (but this is the case for most phones). In addition it is unfortunate that the Google Pixel 4 has options to go only to 128GB of Storage, since it has no SD Card expansion. To conclude the Google Pixel 4 does have it's cons however some of pros prove to be top quality such as the Camera, click here If you would like to purchase a Google Pixel 4 on Amazon: https://amzn.to/2WyEyFM
Design: The Google Pixel 4 has changed it's design from the last generation of Google Pixel's. All Pixel 4's have a black frame combined with the limited different colour option, glossy black, clear white and orange (Orange is a limited option). The back of the device is not like the last generation where there was a fingerprint sensor (now they em boarded on using face unlock) and distinguishable line, instead it is a full glass cover with a faint logo of Google (G).
Build Quality: The Google Pixel 4 has strong Gorilla Glass on the back and front, and a black Aluminium frame with a rubberised coating, this makes the device feel better in usage. The device weighs 162g and has dimension of 147 by 68mm. However the device is not very strong and can break quite easily especially in specific locations of the device, but if taken care of then it will be fine.
Display: The Google Pixel 4 has a 5.7 inch OLED screen with high resolution of 1080 by 2280 pixels so content will be looking amazing, as well as the high quality display, the screen is also a 90hz refresh rate so everything will be super smooth-looking, applications and games will look much better on the Google Pixel 4. Click Here, to Find out more about Refresh Rate. There is quite a top bezel but a smaller lower bezel making the display slightly smaller, however this is a perfect size for One Hand use.
Internals: The Google Pixel 4 has a Snapdragon 855 and Adreno 640 GPU making apps fast and fluid. Base storage goes up to 128GB and unfortunately there is not SD card Expansion Slot, so 128GB is the maximum storage however all models have 6GB of Ram so multitask is also much smoother and apps will load up quickly.
Camera: The Camera of the Google Pixel 4 is one of it's Strong
points, There are two camera on the back and one on the front, the device can record 4k at 30 fps and 1080p at 60fps in high levels of detail even in low light. The colour, exposure and overall quality of images and videos is extremely good for smartphones. Videos are really smooth and stabilised.
Battery: The Google Pixel 4 has a 2800mAH batter which is relatively small, and if you have 90hz refresh rate turned on then the battery will drain faster, however there is an option for 18W fast charge which will charge your device from 0% to 100% in just an hour lasting for around half the day. You can also wireless charge the Google Pixel 4 but it is slower than directly plugging in the phone, click here to purchase a Wireless Charger at Amazon: https://amzn.to/2L4oXrV
Operating System: Android 10
Other/Extra Features: Unfortunately fingerprint unlock has been removed in the Pixel 4 instead they have added a fast and responsive, face unlock.
Negatives: The battery may not be sufficient enough, it may not last an entire day unless you use the Google Pixel less but at-least they still offer 18W fast charge and wireless charging. Also the device has a relatively low storage options which can not be expanded unfortunately however if you not in need of a lot of storage then this should not be an issue. Also the phone can break easily in some locations but as for most phones, they aren't indestructible and if taken with care then the device will remain in a good condition.
Our Verdict: The Google Pixel is a great phone in some aspects, such as the rear camera of the phone, is one of the best camera's you can get on a smartphone. If you like taking pictures or recording videos, but don't want to buy an extra camera just to take pictures, then this is a really good choice. You still get all the features of a normal smartphone all at a relatively good standard but with an excellent camera. There are a few negatives, such as the battery capacity is quite low and this will limit your usage on this device, however fortunately you are able to fast charge your device up to 18W. This phone is reasonably powerful and aesthetic design of this phone looks pleasing, however that is for you to judge.
