What is Apple Pay?

Apple Pay is a digital wallet for all your card, stored on your apple Device. With Apple Pay you are able to pay using your card, from your Apple Device, without the need of your physical card. You can pay for things using Apple Pay at the till, or use Apple pay to pay for online purchases. In addition you can even send money, using Apple Pay just through Imessage.


What Can Apple Pay be Used for?

Apple Pay can be an alternative and easier way to pay both online and physically, all with your apple device. You are able to pay for public transports, restaurants, online shopping etc as long as the place where you purchase something allows for payment in apple pay, which is represented by an apple pay symbol, or contactless payment symbol.

How to pay using Apple Pay?

Firstly you must have Apple Pay set up on your apple devices, along with the cards that you want to use with Apple Pay. In person you would first choose the card you want to pay with. Then put your apple device such as your iPhone or apple watch over the terminal where you pay. Lastly you have to confirm the purchase either using the fingerprint sensor, or face id or pass code. Using apple pay online is a similar process.


How to Set Up Apple Pay?

First Head over to Settings (on an Iphone), then scroll down to Wallet and Apple Pay. Within there you will see options to set up apple Pay and then add your cards, just follow the instructions on your Apple Device.


What Devices has access to Apple Pay:

Apple Pay is available on an Iphone, Apple Watch, Ipad and on specific Mac Model. With a Mac, Apple Pay would be used to pay for online purchases, along with the Ipad, whilst the Iphone and Apple Watch could be used in both online purchases and at physical stores.

Iphones later than and including the Iphone 6, has access to Apple Pay.
